My Sister

Social Impact Short Film

it is a response to what is happening today. to the women of iran. the women of afghanistan. the women of the united states of america. the women of the world.

what of their safety? their education? their choice?

“my sister” amplifies how communities have mobilized, and recognizes those efforts not as isolated protests, but as a single, global revolution. this film is an effort to unify, and offer solidarity to those progressing this movement, by identifying them as we do in asian cultures:

not as strangers, but as sisters.

My Sister is the third impact short film from the collection Call It Covid created by Mimi Munoz and Tatania Tran, and directed by Loren Denis.

As Associate producer on the project, Alessia helped with lunches and crafty, script notes, casting, locations, and payroll.

My Sister is currently showing in theaters.
